SCOTT #3235 KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH 32 CENT

     1998 marked the 100th anniversary of the Klondike Gold Rush. Gold was first discovered in this area of Alaska and Canada in 1896, but 60,000 people rushed to the Klondike in 1898. First day of issue ceremony was held in Nome, Alaska.
