I want to warn all buyers about Apfelbaum, a seller that has a great selection of stamps for sale. Unfortunately, they feel they need a gimmick to sell stamps. Here is what they do. They list thousands of stamps at one price for a week, and then they run a 10% off sale, but they raise the original price. After a few days they run a 25% off sale, but again, they raise the original starting price. After a few days, they run a 50% off sale, again raising the original starting price. If you write down the original starting price and compare it to the 50% off sale, you will find in many cases that you are paying more after the 50% off sale than the original price.
This is not only unethical but it borders on illegal. I want every stamp buyer to beware of this practice.
